Ok, so while we thought we were going to have to wait until June 22 to get to meet our kids on VP, we actually get to meet with them TOMORROW afternoon :) We are so excited. We received an email from the kids' caseworker (we are allowed to contact her directly now!) saying that she did show the kids our adoption book. She said that our daughter had a "very positive reaction" and that our son seemed a little bit more nervous about the idea of adoption. Because of this reaction and because their foster mother suggested we meet them on VP this weekend, we got it approved to see them tomorrow instead of waiting until the 22! This is such terrific news and we can't wait to see their little faces on the screen tomorrow. I am going to try and record the call so that we can watch it again and again while we wait. We are praying that tomorrow goes well and that the kids really get a positive feeling (us too, of course!) and want to talk with us often between now and the time we visit Texas. This is such a wonderful tool to be able to connect with them and help facilitate transition and bonding. God is amazing!! :)
So, tomorrow I am sure I will have more updates and random musings to share. This is just so exciting. It is hard to focus on anything else...but I am praying it won't become an idol- just something we are super excited to do!
