Today will be forever etched in our minds, I am sure of it. Seeing the looks on our kids' faces, the excitement in their eyes, and the joy in their hearts about moving to Oregon, going on a plane, going to the beach, have forever mommies... It was all surreal and NATURAL in a way that is hard to describe. It is almost magical how it is all falling into place, but we know better than to attribute it to magic... It is most certainly not short of miraculous! :) God is amazing.
The kids were so excited to meet us. S said, "Hi Mommy Heather!" The first thing she said... I can only imagine it felt like the moment that a baby says mama for the first time.... It had that heart melting effect the moment I felt it!!! And then she signed HI mommy Kara! Cute!! And our son just jumped up and down and said he wanted to climb through the VP to get here and be here with us... Today couldn't have gone better.
We are so blessed. Their foster mom is FANTASTIC... We owe her so much and know that God really did put them in her home to protect them and love them...
Thank you God for all the amazing blessings you pour into our lives...
Praying for my baby brother tonight....
