I can't believe that we met our kids 1 month ago today.  It has been an entire month since I updated this blog- Guess having two kiddos who are 8 really keeps us busy :) and on our toes.  We have had a really great experience.  There are certainly moments where we feel tired and a bit overwhelmed, but we are so blessed because we have all bonded, the kids are happy, and we just feel like this was all meant to be.

We started our family counseling and will keep that up until we feel there is no longer a need.  We are researching play therapy and hope that we can find someone who will work well with our kiddos.  The language barrier is a little difficult to navigate.  Trying to find a sign language interpreter who can handle the demand our situation presents is very difficult.  It is interesting to be on the opposite side of the interpreting game.  I was always sure to arrive on time, prepared, and sensitive to the needs of all consumers in the room... This isn't bragging, this is because I took my job very seriously and always tried to do the best I was able.  This has not been what we have experienced here so far... interesting.

Otherwise, everything is going really well.  We are working on setting up a blog for A Family For Every Child.  I hope that all of our families will find love, acceptance, and support from our pages and writers. 

God is amazing!  1 month has been just a stepping stone and we look forward to the rest of our lives with these kiddos!
