"Out of difficulties grow miracles" -Jean De La Bruyere

We just keep talking about our little kids and praying that we are making the right steps and choices.  Our friend reminded us yesterday to think carefully about our decisions because they are "forever"... As I sit at my desk at work my eyes drift to  quote that I have saved out and the words fall on my heart in a new way.  I found this quote when someone was going through a really hard time and it reminded me to pray for them. When I read it today it really played a different heart string...

The files hold probably 2,000 pages of paperwork and most of what is on the pages can be read as difficulties-- but when you look at the sweet faces of the children we are going to adopt, all of the sudden you see the miracles... In fact, these miracles certianly did grow from many difficulties.

I wish that we were privy to the information that only God can see.  How will this all turn out?  Will we be good parents? Can we love them enough to make up for all the hurts, dissapointments, and trauma they have faced?  Can we be used by His hands to restore their little smiles and hearts- and to show them the true face of God and of love?
